We are currently looking for a driven and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join the Operations Support team for our cliënt in Born. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in keeping the warehouse operations running smoothly and efficiently.
 
As a Stock Controller, you’ll be the go-to person for all things inventory. You’ll coordinate daily cycle counts, resolve stock discrepancies, and work closely with colleagues across departments to improve our storage and stock handling processes. You don’t just follow procedures — you seek out improvements and drive change.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating and executing cycle count activities
  • Investigating and resolving lost & found stock
  • Analyzing discrepancies and reporting root causes
  • Supporting customer complaint investigations and solutions
  • Maintaining item classification (ABC analysis)
  • Training and onboarding new team members
  • Recommending and initiating improvements in storage methods and put-away strategies
  • Conducting warehouse capacity analyses and optimization
  • Performing "what-if" analyses to identify innovation opportunities
  • Handling various ad hoc tasks to support daily operations

Dit ben jij

Dit zoeken we in onze Stock Controller

  • MBO+ level of education or equivalent (relevant certifications are a plus)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics or inventory control
  • Solid understanding of warehouse processes and supply chain flow
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts, conditional formatting)
  • Analytical mindset with great attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a team player attitude
  • A proactive, problem-solving mentality
  • Flexible and open to change
  • A healthy sense of humor and a positive energy
