That is the question that sparked the beginning of UBQ Materials. For a long time, consumption was a straight line, with a mountain of waste at the end. UBQ made it their mission to turn that into a perfect circle. With UBQ, waste is not the end point, but just the beginning. At UBQ, everyone works together every day to create environmentally safe, sustainable, innovative solutions in a brand-new factory.

UBQ believes in a world without waste. At least, litter. They use unsorted home, garden and kitchen waste to make a plastic alternative. This as a sustainable replacement for traditional raw materials

UBQ Materials is an Israeli cleantech company founded to convert unsorted household waste into a thermoplastic composite. With UBQ, waste is not the end point, but just the beginning. UBQ™ is a bio-based thermoplastic made from 100% unsorted (household) waste, i.e. including all natural and unrecyclable materials. By using UBQ™ as a raw material, manufacturers can reduce the carbon footprint of their finished products. By doing so, they contribute to a circular economy.

UBQ Materials has been a B Corp since 2018 and they are proud to successfully extend that every year!
