We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the packing department at our client’s facility in Maastricht. In this role, you will be an integral part of the cookie packaging process, handling tasks such as working with conveyor belts, completing fast-paced activities, and overseeing the entire process of picking and packing freshly baked cookies. You’ll rotate across various packing lines, each with unique techniques, and prepare products for shipment. Please note that this position requires standing for extended periods.
 
As part of a supportive team, you’ll also ensure hygiene standards are upheld and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Accuracy and attention to detail are key qualities for success in this role.

Please note that a valid European Passport, ID card, or a stay and work permit in the Netherlands is required for this position.

What do you get?

  • Structured scheduling.
  • Starting wage of €15.50 per hour.
  • Shift differential: 138% for hours between 18:00-03:00 and 139% for hours between 03:00-06:30.
  • Opportunities for wage increases based on performance: €16,66 after 26 weeks.
  • Annual salary review in January for those who have worked at least 22 weeks the previous year.
  • Occasional Saturday shifts on a voluntary basis.
  • A positive and welcoming work environment in a family-oriented company.
  • Km allowance 0.23 cents/km til maximum of 30 km in one direction. This allowance is paid in both direcations.

This is who you are

This is what we are looking for in our Production worker/ Packer at Nora Banketbakkerij B.V.

  • Preferred experience in packing or precision production work in food industry
  • Willingness to work in rotating shifts: 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, and 22:00-06:00
  • Proficiency in Dutch or English
  • Successful completion of a trial day is required to begin employment
  • Strict adherence to hygiene policies: no gel or artificial nails, no nail polish, perfumes, jewelry, piercings, or false eyelashes, and a hairnet must be worn
  • Own car or able to use bike.
