PLUS is looking for several operators to operate our own press machines at our distribution center in Oss. Will you be making sure the press machines are running.

What do you do?

Do you have the ambition to be our Machine operator at Plus Distributiecentrum?

As a PET/Can operator, you are key to the optimal operation of an important part of our packaging hall. You work on 4 production lines for PET bottles and cans, as well as a line for crushing tin bags that end up on conveyor belts towards our pressing machines. You make sure that the machines run optimally and stay clean, resolving minor faults with your colleagues.
Since you work with empty PET cans and bottles, which often still contain some residue, keeping the plant clean is especially important. Before starting work, you will receive thorough training.
 
Your responsibilities as an operator:
  • Resolving first-line faults in the process (i.e., no technical failures) quickly and efficiently;
  • Reporting (causes of) failures;
  • Preventing failures by quickly and proactively signaling deviations or faults in production;
  • Managing the plant, such as restarting the plant after a failure.

What do you get?

  • A gross salary (based on 36 hours) of €2,172 for a four-week period;
  • An employment contract for a period of 8 months with the prospect of an indefinite contract;
  • A shift bonus of 25%. Depending on working hours and based on the fourth GIL-CAO work window;
  • Shift bonus of 5% in addition to shift bonus;
  • 180 hours of vacation (five weeks of vacation) per calendar year;
  • 8% vacation allowance;
  • Pension accrual through GIL-CAO (Groothandel in Levensmiddelen), of which PLUS pay 2/3!
  • Good food in our restaurant and daily (free) fresh fruit.

This is who you are

This is what we are looking for in our Machine operator at Plus Distributiecentrum

  • You speak Dutch and/or English;
  • You don't mind shift work. The shifts are as follows
  1. Morning shift: 06:00 - 14:30
  2. Afternoon shift: 14:00 - 22:30
  3. Evening/night shift: 10:00 pm - 06:30 am
  • You are willing to work weekends;
  • You live in Oss (the surrounding area).
